Hello Neighbor, My name is Susie Van Hooser. I am a retired Educator, having spent 30 years in the classroom. I am active in the community, and I held the City Council At-Large Seat A from 2006-2007. I currently serve on the following boards and committees: Ogden Salvation Army; Weber County Heritage Foundation (President), Egyptian Theater Foundation (Vice President) and Crossroads of the West Advisory Committee. My civic involvement and volunteer service are what I believe will make me an effective and contributing member of the City Council. We're running A grassroots campaign, one by the people, for the people of Ogden. We'd appreciate any assistance you can give. |

I have contacted all City Council Candidates and we are going to meet to determine a time and place for an open public forum in which citizens can attend and ask their own questions. http://www.standard.net/topics/news/2009/09/25/majority-council-candidates-attend-debate |
